tuna: everyone’s favorite gift from the sea

Posted by: the screenwriting mofo on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of HealthyTuna.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you get enough omega’s threes in your diet? Do you ever eat fish or any type of seafood at home? Well, buying seafood can get expensive which is why I tend to buy a lot of healthy tuna to keep in my fridge and pantry. You see, what I like to do it take one can of the tuna, I prefer the albacore tuna in water, and I mix it up with some diced cucumber, some diced green bell peppers and some mustard and make a really healthy tuna salad. The I put it on some bread with some swiss and lettuce and sprouts. Mmm tasty! You know, I read that a lot of pregnant women stop eating tuna and other fish at all cause they are afraid of harming the baby. It seems as if there is a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to this. But there is a new study out on it. And the findings show that women who skip seafood during pregnancy could be putting themselves in danger for depression! And that is so not a good thing. So to all of you pregnant women reading this - get some tuna in your diet!

We are looking for completed feature-length or MOW Christmas or Valentine’s Day romantic comedy scripts featuring a female lead role in her 20’s.

The story should be appropriate to air on television, meaning for audiences of all ages. It should be a rom-com and not be a serious drama or deal with provocative situations and be centered on either Valentine’s or Christmas. The lead character, not the supporting one, must be in her 20’s. Please do not submit very lengthy feature scripts as the runtime should end up an appropriate length for a MOW.

Got a finished urban/metro action script? If so, there may be a production company interested in it!

Here are the details from Infolist.com:

SCRIPTS WANTED – URBAN/METRO ACTION

—————
MixvilleII - Urban/Metro Action Scripts

We are looking for completed feature-length action scripts with stories taking place in a major metropolitan/city setting. We’re open to material that has a bit of a high-tech bent, as long as the “tech” is plausible and realistic.

Budget will not exceed $5 million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
