The UCLA Professional Programs in Screenwriting and Producing graduate-level certificate programs may be of interest to some screenwriters out there. Applications for the program became available on January 7, 2008.

The programs are supposedly modeled after the world-renowned MFA curriculum at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. And supposedly, alumni have sold material to Paramount, Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, 20th Century Fox, New Line, Miramax, Nickelodeon, and more.

If you would like to spend money on something like this, rather than say saving it to film your own damn movie, check it out at www.filmprograms.ucla.edu.
