The WB Writer’s Workshop is a popular competition for people interested in writing for television. And why wouldn’t it be? At the end of the workshop period you get staffed in the writers’ room of a Warner Bros. show! However, there is no pay during the workshop, which is enough to turn away those of us that have to work “real jobs” during the week.
The website for the 2009–2010 Warner Bros. Television Writers’ Workshop is up now.
The 2009–2010 Warner Bros. Television Writers’ Workshop is set to run October 2009 through March 2010. Meetings occur each Tuesday from 7 p.m.–10 p.m. on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California.
They are not taking applications yet though. The application period is from May 1, 2009 to July 25, 2009. Check out the website for more details.
