Cinemahead – Seeking Chess Scripts

We are looking for completed feature length scripts that incorporate elements of the game of chess in the story.

Submissions should involve a major character who is a chess player, or chess gameplay as a driving part of an action plot. We’re not interested in stories that only use a token random chess sequence or two. We are open to scripts in any genre or rating.

Budget will not exceed $5 million. WGA and non-WGA writers can submit.

Now HQ in Sweden, Daniel Alegi founded of Cinemahead in 2000. Writer/director of “Czar of Make Believe” (2000) starring Mark Borchardt and Kirill Mikhanovski, and other award-winning shorts.
